Activities at Mappleborough Parish Council

The Parish Council has been campaigning for the Studley By-Pass to ease the amount of traffic (mainly HGV's) through the Village. Unfortunately the campaign has not been successful but when the proposed de-trunking of the A435 comes into effect hopefully within the next twelve months, the Parish Council will push for traffic calming.

Talks have also taken place with Warwickshire County Council regarding their issuing of an Advisory Lorry Route Map, when we asked them to show routes other than through the Village and Studley.

The Parish Council is also backing the ongoing campaign against cuts at the nearby Alexandra Hospital, Redditch which will affect the whole area.
