FREEDOM OF INFORMATION ACT - MODEL PUBLICATION SCHEME

In line with Section 20 of the Freedom of Information Act 2000, the Information Commissioner has developed and approved a new Model Publication Scheme. At the 31st Parish Council Meeting on 1st December, 2008 the Parish Council adopted this without modification and passed a Resolution to that effect.

There are bi-monthly Parish Council Meetings - Between these, the Parish Clerk keeps the Parish Councillors up-to-date with correspondence, Planning Applications, Consultation Papers which are considered and comments sent back to the Parish Clerk for action. *Parish Clerk 10p per copy

Website maintained and updated regularly.
Maintenance of the Dog Island twice per month April-October plus planting out.
Planting of 5 plant troughs (approach to the Village and at The Village Hall)
Donations to the Church and Village Hall towards Grass Cutting.
Maintenance of 2 lights on pathway through Abbeyfields Estate to A435 (Stratford District Council)
Play Area at Abbeyfields Drive - reports sent to Stratford District Council

The Parish Council are keen to hear from any Residents with ideas of what they would like to see / be provided in the Village for the benefit of everyone. *Parish Clerk any of the Parish Councillors.

20p per sheet (colour)
plus postage charges where applicable

The Classes of information do not generally include:-

  • Information the disclosure of which is prevented by law, or exempt under the Freedom of Information Act
  • Information in draft form
  • Information that is no longer readily available as it is contained in files which have been placed in archive storage, or is difficult to access for similar reasons
